A series of events to promote literacy and develop students’ global awareness took place from October 21 to 25, 2024. It could be Book Week at Little Bee Kindergarten, organized under the theme “Unlock the Magic of Reading” – Emphasize the power of learning. It is intended to motivate young learners into literature and critical thinking. On the other hand, the spirit of world unity was alive, as Little Bee School celebrated United Nations Day with merry performances and colorful displays by its young learners and teachers.
Wearing the traditional costumes of various countries across the globe, the culture parade opened with a show of confidence by the children. Parents, teachers, and guests all gathered to watch a presentation that illustrated the diversity found in every classroom representing a different nation. Flags, decorations, and colourful costumes amplified the spotlight on the various cultures, customs, and values represented by each country.
The UN Day celebration at Little Bee was not just a cultural extravaganza but also a timely reminder of the principles of cooperation, peace, and mutual respect that the United Nations stands for.
