Hurray! For a buzzing good time at our Little Bee Book Week Celebration: a week where stories come alive through love for reading and the power of imagination! Our Little Bee School put on a colorful, creative, and literary touch during the annual Book Week Celebration planned to take place between October 21 and 24, 2024. Holding the theme “Books Open Doors to the World,” the four-day event sought to stir in students a passion for reading and fuels imagination, empathy, and curiosity.
Each day was filled with activities specific to different age brackets. From costume parades for beloved characters from books to interactive storytelling sessions, the school transformed into a wonderland of words and imagination. Immersive reading corners were created with the help of teachers and parents, and theme book games kept the young minds buzzing.
A highlight of this great celebration was Moms’ Story Telling, where the little ones all gathered in the mini library to listen to their favorite stories. The kids also had a blast making bookmarks and several related nifty crafty projects.
“Book Week” is possibly the most memorable experience. It is a reminder for our children that books aren’t only for learning- they are for dreaming, discovering, and ‘connected with the world.”
Full of smirks, sagas, and stacks of books, Little Bee’s book week just proved once again that reading is not a habit; it is an experience.
